The National Museum of Racing seeks a program assistant (25-30 hours per
week). Tasks include: assisting in the research and design of education
programming; giving tours and teaching educational programs, both on and
off-site; and handling administrative tasks related to the work of the
department. This is a part-time, year-round position; some weekend work
will be required. Minimum qualifications include an Associate’s Degree;
B.A. is preferred. Superior candidates will have prior museum or teaching
experience and must be computer literate. Candidates must be well
organized; detail oriented, and enjoy working with the public. Equestrian
or racing knowledge is desirable but is not required. Salary range is $9-12
