Beginning in 1983 and running fof about five or six
years, there was a rather unique job-sharing
arrangement for the position of Director of the
newly-formed Department of Visitor Services and
Volunteers, at Pittsburgh's original Buhl Planetarium
and Institute of Popular Science [a.k.a. Buhl Science
Center]. Two ladies filled one full-time position in
directing the new department.
