I noticed the discussion on how to handle yellowjackets and thought the
following link might be helpful:

http://www.wvtf.org/news.htm

It's to our local npr station, which yesterday ran a feature on a gentleman
who collects yellowjackets and wasps in order to harvest their venom. This
gentleman does it for free as long as the insects have not been sprayed with
pesticide. The story focused on his work in the Roanoke, Virginia area, but
I imagine there are others who do the same thing elsewhere. The story is in
Real Audio exclusively, so you might not be able to access it at your work.
