Dear Mr. Gordon,

There are two books which come to mind: 1) "Arts Administration: How to
Set Up and Run a Successful Nonprofit Arts Organization" by Tem Horwitz.
It was published in 1978 by Chicago Review Press;
and 2) "Managing a Nonprofit Organization" by Thomas Wolf. It is a
Fireside Book published by Simon and Schuster and reprinted in 1990. (This
would be the easier one to obtain.)

You might also want to get a hold of a copy of Museum Accreditation: A
Handbook for the Institution which is published by the American Association
of Museums. Although you might not be thinking about accreditation at this
point, the handbook has a lot of information you might find interesting for
planning purposes.

I hope this information will be useful to you.

Best regards,

Mary Mancuso
