with related education and publication programs seeks the following two
positions:
 
Director of Development
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This position is responsible for managing capital, endowment and annual
fund campaigns; membership program, individual giving and special events;
submission of grants to public agencies, foundations and corporations.
Manage staff of two. Qualified candidate will have appropriate degree,
approximately eight years development experience, strong management skills
and the ability to work with high-level volunteers. Interest in the visual
arts is a plus as is knowledge of the Houston community and prior capital
campaign experience. Salary commensurate with experience.
 
Assistant Director of Development

This position will assist the Director of Development in above listed
areas. The position is responsible for preparation of grant proposals and
management of major special events. Qualified candidate will have an
appropriate degree, at least two years development experience with prior
proposal writing a must, strong organization and interpersonal skills.
Salary: low to mid 20's, commensurate with experience.
