The latest version of the the AAM museum accreditation handbook, A
Higher Standard: The Museum Accreditation Handbook, is available to
museums interested in learning more about accreditation. The handbook
is included in the Accreditation Resource Kit, a package designed to
provide information on the accreditation process and to highlight the
characteristics of an accreditable institution. The Accreditation
Resource Kit is available through the AAM Bookstore at $45 for AAM
