Many museums in Australia have represented a broad
range of views and invited public response.

Examples which poop to mind are:

     * in the work of the Migration Museum in South
     Australia

     * the Australian National Maritime Museum in Sydney
(where the public could vote for various options eg
     nude bathing at public beaches)

     * the republic issue in the 'Australians and the
Monarchy' exhibition currently at Old Parliament House
     here in Canberra.
