"Ocker" is a Strine word used to describe things that are perhaps a =
bit too,
too Australian (also a vehicle at which many Australians can only dr=
ool, given
the price).

Did you hear the story about the two real ocker types who were boili=
ng their
billy on a campfire in the Outback? One sez to the other, "Don't kno=
w why these
aborigines have to have any culture, mate. God knows we don't!"

Please note that this is not a Canuck jab at the Aussies; I heard it=
 in Perth
from one of me W.A. mates.
