Hi, Tara!

Thought I'd send a quick note to say hello, and find
out if you'll be coming to the Historic House workshop
in Leavenworth in June. While I'm not 'going' to the
workshop, it is just across the Missouri from work and
I'd love to get together with you, Max and George at
some point. I know the workshop format is intense,
but thought perhaps dinner or a drink sometime while
everyone is here would work out.

I made another major career move in February by
resigning from the Truman Library. Hadn't been there
quite a year and just knew it was not the place for
me. The job was only all right, not very challenging,
and the working atmosphere was not at all what I had
anticpated last May when I started. The political in-
fighting was horrendous and just simply not worth
getting sick over...so I lucked into a position with a
for-profit firm here in Kansas City - Eisterhold
Associates, Inc. Jerry Eisterhold's been creating
wonderful exhibits for years - he and the other
associates are responsible for the National Civil
Rights Museum in Memphis, the Rosa Parks Museum in
Montgomery, AL and we're now working with the Dexter
Avenue King Memorial Foundation and Southern Poverty
Law Center in Montgomery, as well as Old Salem, NC and
several other museums across the US. I feel more
involved in the museum community now than I have for
years.

Anyway, hope to see you in June - if you're coming to
Leavenworth - it's truly less than 15 minutes away
from where I work (N. Kansas City). And, do you have
Max and George's email addresses? Thanks!
