Guy Herman asked how many people who expressed concern that ASTC On-Line
was accessible only to CompuServe subscribers are members of ASTC.
 
FYI, ASTC memebership is available only to institutions, not to individuals.
Speaking for myself, I have worked for two ASTC member institutions, serve
on the national program committee, and have expressed my concerns directly
to the organization as well as to the museum-l. I trust it is an interim
step that so limits the use of this no-doubt useful service.
