According to recent news reports, GW Bush and M Crichton have spent  
some time together comparing notes on global climate and found common  
ground on the matter.

Not surprising. They probably discussed crop circles as well.

I'll take Paul Ehrlich's and Carl Sagan's substantive work in ecology,  
biology, planetary climate and astrophysics over Crichton's odd  
fictions any day. (and his lecture is full of fictions)
