Currently US$433 for a middle position (M.A.-backed) in Croatia. (Still I
have better health benefits than the MoMA staff, as it seems :) . It means
some 10% higher of national average. The lowest wages around recently
were about $40 high (in Croatia 1991., now in Serbia), except Bosnia: as
low as $5-10 or no money at all, just different kind of aids, cigarettes
appreciated. In nineties museum staff of Albanian origin at Kosova were
deprived of their wages and their jobs, which represent ethnic average,
too. Some people remained devoted all the time even there.
