The Rye Historical Society has six employees.  The
Director and Associate Director job share (meaning the
director works about 25/30 hours a week and the
associate director works 10/15 hours a week to equal a
40 hour job) The Curator and Curator of Education are
both full time and the Archivist and Office Manager
are part time (20 hours a week).  While each of the
staff have pretty traditional job descriptions we are
each called up to change light bulbs, empty the
garbage, give tours of the historic house and handle
gift shop purchases.
