For our well-known Chelsea art gallery client we are seeking a Sales
Associate with extensive knowledge of the contemporary art market.
The successful applicant will manage all aspects of sales; generate
and build relationships with collectors, other galleries, museums,
and arts organizations; attend art fairs and other sales events; other
duties as necessary.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years sales experience,
preferably with a top New York gallery or auction house, and
comprehensive knowledge of contemporary art.
BA in art history is required. Outstanding organizational,
communications and networking skills are essential.
Generous base salary and commission structure: medical benefits
after 90 days.

An excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional with a
high energy level and strong interpersonal skills.
