I have a question for all of you who look at resumes in art museums:

As an undergraduate I dual majored in studio art and in history. I love
them both equally. So I decided that I would be better off in Graduate
school majoring in Museum Studies instead of Art History, in order to be
qualified for work in both kinds of museums as registrarial and
curatorial material. I should include that I took a chunk of art
histories, and keep up with my personal art "learning". Many of the job
ads are asking for Art History MA's but I feel that I am just as suited
for these jobs. How do you look at applications like mine, with no Art
History Degree but an art background and a Museum Studies degree????

Please let me know how this is handled

Thanks in advance- Andrea Barrett
