Hey Folks,

Over here at The Center for Wooden Boats in Seattle we are about to open a
second campus, a former beachside resort which is now becoming a
Washington State Park. We will be restoring several of the resort cabins with
mainly volunteer labor. For our insurance, we need to have worker’s comp
coverage for volunteers as well as for employees, and ‘Builder’s Risk Insurance’
for the project in general. Our current insurance is marine based, and they
aren’t interested in backing a land-based program.

If anyone has worked with insurance to cover this sort of thing, we’d really
appreciate any advice, or names of insurance companies, etc.

Below find our work-list of the activities we need to cover.
