An explanation:
Several weeks ago, NAGPRA-L (world.std.com) went a little berserk and
messages from zzg-chron were bouncing all over the place, supposedly when
anyone looked at the archives, and was somehow related to the fact that
the system used by folks at the Park Service was messing up the entire
list (though that makes little sense). It is now fixed, but because it
filled up several peoples mailboxes with total junk, it was a hassle,
to say the least. Let's hope it doesn't start here!
