Re: Material from the Swiss Neolithic Lake Dwelling Site of Robenhausen

We are currently gathering information about US museums with Swiss Neolithic
Lake Dwelling material, specifically from the site of Robenhausen, which was
excavated in the late 19th/early 20th century. A large number of museums
around
the world purchased material from this site, which yielded large quantities
of
well-preserved textiles, fruit, grain, and other organic material. Key words
to
search for include the following:

Robenhausen
Wetzikon
Pfäffikon
Pfäffikersee
Jakob Messikommer
Ferdinand Keller

US museums that we know have Robenhausen collections include:

Smithsonian Institution
Chicago Field Museum
Milwaukee Public Museum
Peabody Museum (Harvard)
