I saw an outline, teacher's guide, and a complete selection of subjects for
classes to be chosen by the teacher last weekend offered by the Battleship
Massachussets that certainly combined the historic and technical features of
this unique ship/site. Do check with the ship - Margret Renn showed it to
me. Other ships may have this too.

Subject: Inter-disciplinary programming at historic site museums

I'm hoping some of you could provide some feedback
towards a research paper I'm currently working on.
I'm looking at school programming in historic sites
that goes beyond the traditional confines of history
to incorporate subjects such as science & technology
or the arts. If you work at or know of such a site,
I'd love to hear not only about the types of programs,
but also about the reasons for their implementation,
and how well received they have been.
Thanks in advance for your assistance!
