Erica,
Remind them of the pro's of quality verses the con's of quantity.
Sounds like they are wanting to increase visitation to rationalize
something.  At our historic house museum we have two full time and one
part time staff.  We are closed to the public Tuesdays and Wednesdays,
which enables us to get work done that we normally wouldn't have the
chance to do.
