 SCOPE OF INDEX

For the purposes of this index, the MUSEUM-L discussion of Whiteout has
been placed in the context of a broader topic, "Marking Techniques." None of
the original content has been changed, although spelling and punctuation
errors have been edited, and portions of the discussion not directly relating
to this topic have been removed. With the user in mind, the term "Whiteout,"
which appears in a variety of forms and spellings, has been standardized, and
is listed in the index as Whiteout. Page locations are given for terms
relating to the discussion of marking techniques, authors, publications, and
issues of concern. A separate list of contributors, their email addresses,
and page numbers in which they appear, has been created for use as a quick
reference to these invaluable, human resources.
