Linda,

We have what we call a "Spotlight On..." case which is usually a one case
(but is sometimes is a little larger) "exhibit" in the lobby. In the
newsletter and publicity we always describe it as the spotlight on case.

Best from Wilmington,

Tim

Subject: Mini-Exhibit? Display? What term do you use?

When we have small displays that don't rate the title of exhibit - a case
or
two, or one large wallcase - I try not to use the word "exhibit" when
sending out publicity, because it implies to the average person more than
what actually exists.

What phrases do you use to describe them?
