A number of weeks ago I posted a request for any infomation on
giving audio tours of museums. I only got one reply, but it was a great
lead. The reply reccommended a company called :

        Heritage Information Technologies, Inc. (HIT)
        Box 1049
        Lewisburg WV 24901 Phone: 304-647-9900

I called the President, Robert Griffin, he sent a video and
then a few weeks later stopped by Milan Ohio and gave a demo to the Edison
Birthplace and the Milan Historical Museum. I work in the computer field
as my *real* job, and I was impressed with what he had to offer!
Way beyond cassette players, handheld units that give individual
tours, programable for whatever you want: childrens tours, different
 languages, as exhibits change, etc.
I talked with Mr. Griffin yesterday, he'll be at the AAM show
in Seattle. Tell him Robert in Milan said "hello".

PS Thomas Edison is credited with the term "hello" on the telephone.
Aparently Bell used "Ahoy"...
