I may have missed this, but the Texas Land Office has many maps of Texas. For SETMA (Southeast Texas Museum Association), a gentleman from the TLO came to speak last spring at the Heritage Society in Houston. He discussed how his office had reproduced maps and sold them online. This has produced so much revenue that they have been able to instigate a very thorough conservation program of the original maps.

Worth checking out.
