Vice President of Development
The Tech Museum of Innovation

The Tech Museum of Innovation is a non-profit institution located in San
Jose, CA that engages people of all ages and backgrounds in exploring and
experiencing the technologies affecting their lives and aims to inspire the
innovator in everyone.

The Vice President of Development is a key strategist, collaborating with
executives and community leaders serving on the Board and senior staff to
shape future direction and ensure
that The Tech plays a growing role in shaping the interest and choices of
future innovators.  This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the
President, with responsibility for securing the contributed revenue required
to support annual budgets, as well as building the endowment and raising
growth capital.

Qualifications include eight to ten years of progressive fundraising
responsibility with nonprofit organizations with budgets of $8 million or
larger.  Superior verbal, written, and presentation skills.  A minimum of
three to five years of previous management experience directing multiple
direct reports.  Assocation of Fundraising Professionals membership
preferred.
