Exhibit Coordinator Needed
Va. Museum of Natural History
Martinsville, VA  24112

        The Virginia Museum of Natural History seeks an Exhibits Coordinator
with broad experience in exhibit development and project management.  Must
possess knowledge of current museum exhibition practices and be familiar with
wide range of exhibition types.  Responsibilities include team work in
conceptual exhibit development, budget and contract management, and
overseeing installation and maintenance, evaluation, and staffing of
exhibitions.    B.A. in science, museum studies, or other related fields and
experience in developing and coordinating exhibits for public audiences,
preferably in a natural history museum or other related setting preferred.
Candidate should possess excellent communication and organization skills and
be familiar with educational theories related to learning in informal
settings . Salary range $27,204 - 37,994, with excellent benefits package
including employer-paid retirement.  To apply, submit resume and Va. State
