Marketing Manager:  Hansen Planetarium and Utah Museum of Naturaol History
This position will oversee all marketing and marketing related activities for the Hansen Planetarium and the Utah Museum of Natural History, including market research; planning and implementation of general and specific marketing campaigns; design, distribution and placement of all paid advertising and promotional brochures and other related materials.  The Marketing Manager will supervise a marketing staff of two or more, including making job assignments, conducting performance evaluations, etc.  The position will report to the Assistant Director for Community Relations at the Utah Museum of Natural History.  A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field and a minumum of five years marketing and managerial experience or equivalency required. DEVELOPMENT OFFICER II
Utah Museum of Natural History and Hansen Planetarium

This position is responsible for coordinating fund raising activities for the Utah Museum of Natural History and the Hansen Planet
Planetarium, to secure financial support from individuals, corporations and foundations, and to successfully carry out the annual fund, develop a major gifts program, implement a major capital campaign, ensure appropriate donor stewardship, and establish a planned giving program.  The Development Officer will report to the Director of the Museum and Planetarium, and will supervise two full-time development staff.  A Bachelor's Degree in Communications, English, Business, or a related field, plus four years of fund raising or related experience or equivalency required.  Experience should include direct solicitation of contributions, capital campaign, volunteer leadership support, written and oral presentations, technological and research applications, and strategy development.
