Kimberly,

Have you contacted Bronner Brothers? They sponsor an African-American hair show each year in Atlanta. For the uninitiated, they are one of the largest, if not the largest, manufacturer of African-American hair products in the United States.

Bronner Brothers may have an artifact collection of early products or advertising that might be useful for you.

Also, you've probably already contacted Mme. Walker's granddaughter, the author of her recent biography.

Hope this helps.

Cordially,
pamela sezgin
