This is in response to two questions.

The What's What book is out of print and has been for at least a few years.
However, I did acquire a book for my institution through Amazon.com; another
person found a copy in a local second hand bookstore. The book is helpful
for determining parts of contemporary pieces. But it is inadequate for
helping to describe many older items.

About a week ago, someone inquired about job openings in the Seattle area.
I don't know of any at the moment. Often, positions are advertised locally
and aren't advertised nationally at all. One source for job information in
Washington State is through Emessenger, available through the Washington
Museum Association. You must be a member of the association to receive this
email service.
