Put some silicone release film/mylar, coated both sides under the cap, it will come off and on quite easily. I have tried being neat and not dribbling the B-72 on the lid and bottle, but that is not always an option. If you do not have a source or if you cannot obtain some from the conservation community then let me know and I will try to locate for you.

Subject: B-72 problem -- the top keeps sealing up on me!

I'm hoping someone has a solution to this problem.

EVERY time I try to open my screw-on top to both the
clear and white B-72 for the first time of the day, I
have to have someone from maintenance run it under hot
water and almost BREAK the bottle getting it to open.

Is there some trick to keeping it from sealing up?

Kim Kenney
