I'm sorry to say that in many cases you are right. Most of these job
openings already have people in mind before they are even posted. Still
we have to play the game, "EOE" Equal Opportunity Employeer and all that.

It is really unfair to all those applicants that take the time and spend
money to send in an application. But it is the law of the land.

However, there are legit job openings too. So you have to have faith that
one day you'll land one of those. Another thing to think about it is that
oneday someone who knows you may open up a position that's is intended
for you. Then you can be on the other end of the stick and the world will
remain in harmony.
