Hello, All-knowing list!

Would anyone be so kind as to share reference type images to illustrate unstable labeling techniques? Ideally, images of cultural objects. For example:

-object tagged and damaged with an adhesive label
-object tagged with an acidic or otherwise volatile paper or plastic labeling material showing deterioration of the label, object, and/or label data
- negative impact of directly numbering an object with ink or other medium
-labeling technique using fugitive materials, or materials whose deterioration is caused by the object
-object damaged by unsound tag attaching technique (wire, safety pin, etc.)
-any other unstable labeling/numbering/tagging approach

If you'd also like to share images of stable labeling techniques, that would be fantastic, too.

The intended use of the images is to educate and raise awareness among museum practitioners and the general public via a presentation. I will give the talk(s) pro bono and attendees are admitted free of charge. Photo credit and caption preferences will be respected. With your permission, I'd also be happy to share submissions in a public folder for everyone's benefit.

Thank you very much for your time.
Best,
Sandra
