Hello Everyone,

My co-worker and I have been getting more and more requests for  
research from off-site visitors.  Does your institution have a policy  
and payment structure for any research over a certain amount of time?   
How do you go about getting payment if you do?  Do you ask upfront or  
do wait and invoice the researcher, then send them the materials once  
you are paid?

We love to help people but with a small staff our time is needed for  
more than just research (although I do love research).
