There have been some recent posts to the list regarding digitization options. The CDP will be holding workshops in the next few weeks and will be running another series in the late-summer/fall.  Announcements will be posted to the list when details are available.

 This is the first workshop in a series of workshops for the Colorado's
 Digitization Projects. The purpose of this workshop is to introduce
 cultural heritage institutions to the range of issues associated with
 digitization of primary source materials. Attendees should familiarize
 themselves with the information about digitization on the CDP web site
 prior to the meeting.

This workshop will focus on the basic scanning techniques. It will introduce cultural heritage institutions to the CDP scan standards, quality control and storage of image files. Attendees will have the opportunity to work with scan equipment to create scanned images. Lecture and hands on exercise. Attendees should review the CDP Scan standards prior to attending the session.
