Colleagues at the George Washington Univ. museum graduate
program are organizing a session for the Mid-Atlantic
Association of Museums November meeting in Annapolis -- the session will
be on education reform -- they are looking for examples of museum
professionals who are actively participating in state or local Goals 2000
planning initiatives.

Ken Nelson, the director of the National Education Goals Panel (set up
under Goals 2000 to promote education reform) is a confirmed panelist;
Diane Frankel, the Director of IMS, is a possible panelist. The
organizers would like to find a panelist who is actually involved in a
formal Goals 2000 state or local initiative.

Is anybody out there? Please respond to me at afinch*cap.gwu.edu, or by
phone at 202-289-9125.
