The historic house museums in Milan are setting up a local and thematic
museum network dedicated. As part of the preparation for the project, the
practical problems and solutions of local museum networks were explored in a
2005 conference in Milan, for which the bi-lingual acts have been published
(with my translations from Italian into English):

_Case-museo a Milano: esperienze europee per un progetto di rete /
House-museums in Milan: European Experiences for a Network Project_, [Milan,
2005].

It is available from the Poldi Pezzoli Museum in Milan.

The situations and solutions might be helpful for you, too.

Best regards and a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year,

Star Meyer
