Dera All:

Recently our historic house has been undergoing restoration. Our (wood)
furniture was mostly covered, but during the process (much too long to
go into here) some areas were left uncovered, and now have a gritty
coating of plaster and concrete dust.

What is the best way to remove this safely, without scratching the
surface and/or removing the patina?

Thanks for any help you can give!
