Yes, in the museum where I work part time, we ban red wine and red juices,
bad stuff!  We have never been "challenged" on this policy by a client, but
caterers try to get past it all of the time. They claim that they didn't
know the policy (no matter how many times you KNOW they've worked events at
your site before) and thinking for some strange reason that the staff has
been struck suddenly blind after the original, "no, please take that off of
the bar" and putting it back up after you have turned your back.
