Please join the Geri Thomas and the Arts and Business Council of
New York for a Creative Conversation

WHAT: Navigating an Arts Career in these Economic Times

WHEN: Tuesday, May 12, 6:30--8:30pm

WHY: Geri Thomas, President of Thomas & Associates, an innovative firm
that offers staffing, consulting and training programs for museums,
non-profit organizations, and art businesses nationwide will be our
featured guest.
She will be joined by four young arts administrators representing four
different career situations for a unique "inverse panel" or "fishbowl"
style conversation.  The conversation will touch on issues such as
determining if an organization is right for you, enhancing job security,
and working as a freelancer. Participants will also have opportunities
to share and network.

WHERE: Con Edison, 4 Irving Place (east of Union Square between
14th & 15th Streets), Edison Room, 19th Floor

HOW: Suggested a donation of $10 at the door.  Space is limited;
