Paige, and anyone else trying to work out User Fees--
Have you contacted the New England Historic Genealogical Society
at 101 Newbury St. in Boston 02116? Their user fees were well
established when I started work there in 1979, and I know they have
worked on keeping the structure current to try to meet their needs
without pricing researchers completely out of the market since then.
They are a membership organization, but it was possible to pay a daily
fee to research on-site when I was there (but that was a decade ago).
Call me if you want to talk about it.
