Is anyone on the list a librarian who works at an historic home? I was a
teacher for 10 years and have decided to enroll in an MLS(Masters of
library science) program. My ultimate dream would be to work in a small
historic home with a library of personal papers. The university I plan to
attend has a specialization program in archives, but it also offers a joint
masters degree with history. What skills are needed to work in one of
these libraries?
What degree would be most beneficial?
Thanks in advance,
Jennifer
