Hi Randy,

I appreciate your response and would like to suggest that you come
and see for yourself what has, and what has not beeen accomplished in
Second Life in respect to the museums already built there. These
kinds of discussions are useful to all institutions considering a
build in a 3D world; whether they are in Second Life or any of the
myriad persistant worlds already out there, or in the pipeline. By
decrying the costs and reminding us all of alternative solutions
still does not absolve us of finding out for ourselves what is is
possible for the museum community. These kind of critical debates
should be timely, focused and above all, informed.
