ASSISTANT MARKETING MANAGER OF E-COMMERCE

The Metropolitan Museum of Art, one of the world's finest museums, seeks an Assistant Marketing Manager of E-Commerce for the Direct Marketing Department.  The Assistant Marketing Manager is responsible for the implementation of the online Met Store marketing plan, including the email marketing program and related online and offline advertising and promotions.  The Assistant Manager will analyze and report on campaign results, site statistics, and market trends.  The position will interface with external email and marketing services vendors, various Merchandising, Inventory, and Web Development departments, and the Museum's privacy policy committee.   Qualification requirements are 2 + years marketing experience, direct and/or e-commerce preferred.  The ideal candidate must have excellent written communication, and strong analytical skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and database skills are required.  Familiarity with CheetahMail's email deployment tool is a plus.  B.A. degree is required.  M.A. is preferred.  A merchandising and/or museum or arts background is preferred.
