Take a look at www.thetech.org for two positions that will be posted shortly
for The Tech Museum of Innovation in San Jose, CA. In both cases, our team
members moved back home to the Midwest and we hope to match their extensive
museum experience and introduce them to the seven wonders of San Jose,
including Lou's Living Doughnut Museum. San Jose is 45 min from exotic San
Francisco and beach-filled Santa Cruz, CA.

The Senior Manager of Exhibit Projects will begin by leading the design and
project management of 3 exhibits as well as the rental of 2 travelling
exhibits per year. This person will manage two Senior Designers and a
Project Specialist. The current projects:

1) Genetics, opening in Feb 2004 ($1 million project not incl. salaries;
2200 s.f., in Design Detail phase))
1) Inventor's Workbenches in May 2004 ($400K project, not incl. salaries;
1000 s.f.)
2) Internet in October 2004 ($1 million project, not incl. salaries; 3000
s.f.)

The Senior Exhibit Designer will lead the design of 2 major exhibits that
are currently nearing the end of the Design Concept stage and beginning of
Design Detail (as well as handling some layout of travelling exhibits and
taking on future projects after these are completed). BTW, you will be
working alongside a highly talented and experienced Senior Exhibit Designer
(Tina Cosby) who is handling an exhibit on genetics.

Director of Exhibits and Programs) with your application. Thanks!
