Perhaps a bit odd to be posting about my own job, but if you're interested please go to https://jobs.usnh.edu/applicants/jsp/shared/search/SearchResults_css.jsp to see details and apply. The official title is assistant director, the working (and perhaps more descriptive) one is exhibitions and collections manager.

Summary of Position

Encompassing the professional roles of museum registrar, exhibition preparator, head of security, and facilities supervisor, this position entails the management of daily operations pertaining to exhibitions, the permanent art collection, and physical facilities while ensuring that professional museum standards and procedures are followed in handling, displaying, and caring for works of art. Bachelor's degree in arts-related field (i.e., art history, museum studies) and two years of related experience (preferably as museum registrar), Masters degree preferred. Excellent organizational and communication skills required. Strong writing skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a hectic office environment. Considerable physical work included. Proficiency in computer word processing and database management. Desktop publishing experience a plus.
