Dear Colleagues,
I am writing in my capacity as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Museum in Warsaw, Poland. We are searching for a new director. I would be grateful if you were able to spread the word about the international search.

The National Museum is Poland’s principal and most prominent art museum. It boasts an outstanding collection that covers many different disciplines from paintings to the decorative arts.

The Board of the National Museum in Warsaw is seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the post of Director of the National Museum in Warsaw. The role calls for strong leadership qualities and an ability to work closely with Government. Candidates must be able to speak or willing to learn Polish. Closing date for applications is 14 August 2008.

For more information see the Museum’s website: http://www.konkursnadyrektora.mnw.art.pl/information.html

Thank you, regards,
Jack Lohman
