You might start with the Association of Railway Museums. Scott Becker at
the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum (Washington PA) is either the current or
previous President.
Many railway museums restore railway equipment. Just a few are the PA
Trolley Museum, Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania (Strasburg PA), Seashore
Trolley Museum (Kennebunkport ME). There are lots of railway museums out
there - check the Official Museums Directory.
