For our client, The Hefner Collection, located in Oklahoma City, OK, we are
seeking a Curator/Director.  The Hefner Collection is recognized as the most
important collection of Chinese Post-Cultural Revolution oil painting in the
world and encompasses not only work from this period but seminal examples
from Chinese oil painting's history dating back to the early 20th century.
The Curator/Director will develop, manage, maintain, display and interpret
the Collection and be responsible for other art-related interests of the
owners.  Other responsibilities include exhibition development, public
relations, marketing, and maintaining the website. The ideal candidate will
have had extensive experience in Chinese contemporary art and familiarity
with museum-level concepts, practices and procedures.  Knowledge of China,
Chinese artists, and fluency in Mandarin and English is essential.
Demonstrated creativity, leadership ability and sound business skills are
