I will have to assume that you were not directing your post to me as I
neither name-called nor generalized in my post.  On the contrary, I think
you and I have been disturbed by many of the same things on museum-L.
Discussion often quickly deteriorates into unprofessional banter and
personal attacks.  I posted for much the same reason/s, I gather, that you
did.  So again, I will assume that (despite posting under my subject area)
you were not directing you critique toward me.

I think we would all agree that the breast-feeding thread got completely
out-of-hand (and, for some bizzare reason, lives on).

Here's to hoping that we may get back to discussing "real," pressing museum
and industry-related topics.
