I just want to clarify this project:

I am working *with* them to do the exhibit, so of
course we are willing to be liable for the loaned
objects -- they will be in our gallery. We are
looking at 2-3 cases at the most. We are starting
small with them.

Second, this group has been meeting for over three
years and has been incoporated as a 501(c)(3)
organization already. They have a Board, some money
to hire someone, and lots of big ideas and plans. It
is within our mission to support them and help in any
way we can.

There is a Stark County connection with Madame Walker,
which is where this idea originated, I am told.

Thank you all for your help!

Kimberly A. Kenney
Curator
McKinley Museum
Canton OH
